Mowing the lawn - Album on Imgur

The new mowing schedule has been posted on the mowing schedule page. Please make sure if it is your turn, that you do it or at least try to trade someone if you are not able to.

We would love you to volunteer! If you are not on the list but would like to be, please email Clark at rafsecretary@gmail.com.

Can You Help us With Mowing? – Grace Gathering

The grass is starting to grow out at the RAF Field and we need volunteers to help cut it this year. It only takes about an hour. We have zero turn mowers that are pretty sweet to operate and they even have a drink holder for your favorite beverage.

Usually we mow on Mondays and Fridays at the hours you are available. We like to keep the runway well groomed so that is why it is mowed frequently. (It also helps keep the bugs at bay.) You can also throw the (select: Plane, Helicopter, Autogyro, Ornithopter, Cruise Missile) in the car and get in a few flights while you are there. There may be times when the grass isn't growing, so if you just stop by the field to confirm mowing isn't needed you can skip those times.
